The building that houses the hotel, has its origins during medieval times, when the courtyard presiding over one of the most emblematic corners of the hotel, was used for the economic activity of butchers. It linked through an alley to the current Carnicería street, currently one of the most commercial streets in Ciutadella.
The noble family Quadrado acquired the house in the middle of the 19th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, the building that was being used as a workshop of shoes became the housing of the family Salort Olivar.
Through this residence have passed generations of the nobility of Ciutadella, connected to the festivities of Sant Joan, making it even more special.
The current owner has given in rent the building for its management as a hotel, being at the moment an illusion for the whole team to recover the splendour of this historic building.
